Our Outreach team offer a range of training and support, which is designed to share our expertise in an engaging and informative way

How can we help your school?

  • Deliver Twilight and INSET training  
  • Work with universities to support the development of trainee teachers  
  • Welcome professionals from the UK and around the world to visit our school and learn more about what we do 
  • Host termly SENCo coffee mornings covering a range of topics related to Specific Learning Difficulties  
  • Host an annual Parents and Professionals Evening featuring a guest speaker lecture

Training Kingston University students

As part of the teacher training programme at Kingston University two Fairley House speech and language therapists went to speak to the next generation of teachers and therapists. They unpacked the complex subject of speech, language and communication needs so they could better identify SpLD learners, what learning challenges could present themselves, and the best resources and materials available to support their studies.

Workshop for Rye Oak Primary School

Our esteemed therapy team visited Rye Oak Primary School in Peckham for a Twilight training session on sensory circuits and how they can be setup and run no matter the time or space constraints, and the huge benefits it can deliver to learners.

an introduction to SLCN - What it is, how it might present, so that students can begin to identify it in classrooms, resources and materials to support pupils with SLCN. This session is part of a larger module of SEND - equipping students with tools to support pupils in mainstream classrooms who present with a range of difficulties
